Slow-Roasted Tomatoes

Directions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. 2. Line a baking sheet with foil.
  3. 3. Coat the baking sheet with 3tbs of olive oil.
  4. 4. Cut each of the tomatoes in half (avoid cutting through the stem).
  5. 5. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and sugar over each halve.
  6. 6. Drizzle each with balsamic vinegar.
  7. 7. Spread garlic over each halve.
  8. 8. Top each halve with thyme.
  9. 9. Pour remaining cup of olive oil over each halve.
